The Seres OL, Online Water Hardness Analyzer  colorimetric process provides continuous, on-line analysis of total hardness in potable water, process water and demin (demineralization) water production.

Features of the Topaz on-line total hardness analyzer include:

  • Multiple ranges from 10-50 ppm up to 60-600 ppm (mg/L) of CaCO2
  • Single channel up to 6-channel configurations available
  • Automatic electrical zero before each measurement
  • Automatic measurement cell cleaning
  • Easy menu-guided operation
  • Large backlit colour LCD touchscreen interface
  • High quality 316L stainless steel cabinet (painted)
  • Continuous, colorimetric titration using EDTA methodology at pH 10

 

The Serez OL Topaz series provides you with a high-quality industrial-grade analyzer specific to your hardness analysis requirement.

The EDTA hydroxynaphthol blue and calcium and magnesium titration with automatic baseline zero and sample flow monitoring provides you with continuous and reliable analysis with updates as frequently as 5 to 8 minutes.

  • Total Hardness LR:10 to 50 ppm CaCO3
  • Total Hardness HR: 10 to 100 ppm CaCO3
    • or 30 to 300 ppm CaCO3
    • or 60 to 600 ppm CaC

Complete system including measurement and control electronics, measuring unit, flow indicator, oxidation re-actor and reagent dosing system.

Signal outputs

  • 2 programmable signal outputs for measured values (freely scalable, linear).
  • Current loop:4 – 20 mA
  • Communication interfaceRS485 interface (galvanically separated) with Modbus/JBUS RTU protocol.
  • Ethernet interface (TCP/IP) optional.

  • Alarm Relay s 1 summary alarm for ” analyzer failure”Maximum load:1A / 24 V
  • 2 potential-free contacts for each channel programmable as limit switches for measuring values (high/low thresholds)
