Valveless Waste Transfer Pump - BLDC FMI OEM Pump

Waste transfer applications in Clinical Chemistry Analyzers, Dialysis Equipment, and Analytical

Ideal for OEM Medical and Analytical instrumentation

waste transfer applications in Clinical Chemistry Analyzers, Dialysis Equipment, and Analytica

The BLDC OEM Valveless Waste Transfer Pump is engineered for waste transfer applications in Clinical Chemistry Analyzers, Dialysis Equipment, and Analytical Instrumentation.

All that is needed is a simple 24VDC input to power the long life performance of a brushless DC motor and integral driver electronics.

The valveless waste transfer pump includes valveless fluid control technology having only one moving part in the fluid path.

A simple Brushless DC Motor eliminates the need for stepper motor control, but precision and flow can still be controlled using the innovative head design to precisely adjust flow.

The head uses just one moving part, a rotating and reciprocating ceramic piston to control all fluid functions within the pump, thereby eliminating the need for check valves.

Valveless Waste Transfer Pump Features:

  • Valveless fluid control technology having only one moving part in fluid path
  • Compact design with integral electronics
  • 24 V brushless DC motor
  • Sapphire-hard, dimensionally stable ceramic internal components
  • Inert fluid path for maximum chemical compatibility
  • The valveless waste transfer pump is Factory calibrated for flow rates from 20 mL / min to 400 mL / min.
  • Will maintain calibration precision of 1% for millions of cycles

Ideal for OEM’s

Our Engineering Team incorporates over 59 years of OEM design experience to meet specific customer & application requirements.

With the knowledge and the necessary tools, our engineers have developed the most precise and reliable valveless dispensing and metering pumps available.

Valveless Waste Transfer Pump FAQ

One of the main features is the use of a Brushless DC motor. Other pumps in our line use stepper motors. It still has the precision and accuracy of other pumps, but the simple DC motor does not require any external stepper motor control.

This is a great solution if you do not have a stepper controller or the means to control the motor. All you need is to apply voltage and the pump will run. Precision is then adjusted at the head.

60 psi (4 Bar) Max on outlet
Pressure spikes up to approx 102 psi (7 Bar) for a maximum of 10 seconds

As with all FMI pump the head is viscosity independent. If you can get the fluid to the inlet, the pump will be able to deliver it in a very precise manner.

The main reason for creating this solution is if the customer does not have a separate controller or electronics the pump will still run with a simple 24v connection. Voltage can be varied.

There is an option to control the voltage and therefore the speed, and different head configurations can be chosen. Contact us for help with choosing the correct solution for your application.

There are many applications but it is specifically used in Medical applications. Often for applications where a dedicated pump is used to remove waste after the process has completed within an instrument.

This pump is currently being used in a large amount of medical instruments where FDA certification has been achieved.

We recently conducted tests and found that with this product using high purity water we were able to reach 82 million cycles with no loss of accuracy.

This product has a brushless motor for longevity and the head uses only one durable moving part and no valves for much lower maintenance than standard pumps.
