HTM-SP pumps combine the proven design of our magnetic drive centrifugal pumps with reliable self-priming performance. At sea level, these pumps are capable of self-priming up to 6 meters. The HTM-SP range is manufactured in Polypropylene (PP) or PVDF, high-performance thermoplastic materials that offer excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
The advanced sealless magnetic drive system ensures high levels of safety and operational efficiency by minimizing the risk of leaks and environmental emissions while significantly reducing maintenance requirements. The pumped liquid must be clean and free of suspended solids.
Anti-corrosion industrial pumps suitable for pumping acids and bases fluids and highly corrosive liquids
- Materials available: PP or PVDF;
- Materials in contact with the liquid:
Pump housing: PP or PVDF;
Impeller: PP or PVDF;
O-ring: EPDM (standard for PP pumps) / VITON (standard for PVDF pumps);
Static shaft: Al2O3 99.7%;
Bearing: PTFEC. - Capacity up to 25 m3/h.
- Head up to 22 m.
- Max temperature: PP: 70° C – PVDF: 90° C.
- Max viscosity: 20 cSt.
- Pressure rating: PN6 at 20° C.
- Self-priming up to 6m at sea level.
- Suction connection available in 3 welded configurations (frontal, on the right and on the left).
Manufacturing materials
HTM-SP pumps are made of thermoplastic materials PP or PVDF and they are compatible with most acids and basic liquids, chemicals and other dangerous fluids.
Self Priming
HTM-SP pumps can prime up to 6 m at sea level liquids with specific gravity 1 and at room temperature.
Leak free magnetic design
Advantages of magnetic drive pumps:
– no mechanical seal
– no leakage and emissions
– no motor/pump alignment
– environmental sustainability
– reliability and safety
– limited periodic maintenance with long-term savings
Reliability
Unlike many centrifugal pumps on the market the pump head of GemmeCotti pumps is fixed to the bracket with 8 bolts. This feature guarantees a firm fastening of the pump head to the bracket and avoid the casing deformation under pressure.
Static Shaft
The static shaft of the mag drive centrifugal pumps HTM series are made of Alumina 99,7% (Al2O3), an extremely resistant ceramic material, which guarantees the maximum stability and resistance to aggressive chemicals.
Injection Molding
The plastic components of HTM-SP pumps are manufactured by GemmePlast, a company within the GemmeCotti Group that specializes in plastic injection molding. This in-house production ensures thorough quality control of raw materials and full oversight of the entire molding process.
Magnetic drive pumps are designed with a special sealless configuration that is suitable for transferring acids, chemicals, corrosive and dangerous liquids thanks to the high chemical resistance of their construction materials and to the absence of leakage and emissions. The structure is really simple and it requires very little maintenance with consequent saving in terms of repairing, spare parts and machine downtime (costs during the pump life). This type of pump is not suitable for transferring liquids with solids. Liquid must necessarily be clean and free of suspended solids.
* The pump’s flow rate and output are specified for pumping water at room temperature. If you pump liquids with higher temperature, viscosity, or density, the performance must be recalculated accordingly. The electric motor is selected based on the viscosity and density values provided.
