Swan Online Silica Analyzer

SWAN Analytical Instruments’ model AMI Silitrace Silica Analyzer, is the optimal on-line solution for low-level silica analysis in the 0.5 to 1000 ppb (parts per billion) range.

The AMI Silitrace colorimetric analyzer performs continuous automatic testing of up to six water-steam cycle samples. Utilizing a unique reagent injection system with sample cell drainage (by siphon), moving parts are minimized for high reliability.

Automatic calibration and verification functions provide for accuracy and peace of mind and a built-in grab-sample function is available for ‘anytime’ manual sampling.

Other built-in functionality and features of the AMI Silitrace Silica Analyzer include:

  • Standard Single or dual-stream versions available or monitor up to 6-streams with sequencer
  • Molybdosilicate method with high precision temperature controlled photometer
  • Long life stable LED light source
  • Optimal chemistry does not precipitate or cause background absorbance
  • No system pressurization requirement

  • 1 Alarm relay One potential free contact for summary alarm indication for programmable alarm values and instrument faults. Maximum load: 1A / 250 VAC
  • 1 Input One input for potential-free contact. Programmable hold or remote off function.
  • 2 Relay outputs Two potential-free contacts programmable as limit switches for measuring values, controllers or timer for system cleaning with automatic hold function. Rated load: 1A / 250 VAC
