The HTT series magnetic drive regenerative turbine pumps are manufactured from thermoplastic materials, including polypropylene (PP) and PVDF, and are designed for pumping highly corrosive liquids. The innovative magnetic drive system eliminates the need for mechanical seals, significantly reducing the risk of leakage and emissions while also lowering maintenance costs.
Torque is transmitted through magnetic coupling, allowing contact-free operation between rotating parts. This seal-less design ensures a high level of safety and efficiency. The pumped liquid must be clean and free of suspended solids.
Anti-corrosion industrial pumps suitable for pumping acids and bases fluids and highly corrosive liquids
- Materials available: PP/PVDF;
- Materials in contact with the liquid:
casing and rear casing: PP/PVDF; Impeller: PVDF;
o-ring: EPDM (standard for PP pumps);
VITON (standard for PVDF pumps);
shaft: Al203 99,7%;
bearing: PTFEC. - Max flow: 9 m3/h; Max head 50 mlc.
- Temperature: PP: max 70°C – PVDF: max 90°C.
- Max viscosity: 40 cPs.
- Pressure rating: NP 6.
- It handles up to 20% entrained gas.
HTT pump resists cavitation. - Available in ATE X version for zone 2 II3G
(pump mod. EM-T PP/PVDF).
Manufacturing Materials
HTT pumps are made of thermoplastic materials PP o PVDF and they are compatible with most acids and basic liquids, chemicals and other dangerous fluids.
Leak Free Magnetic Design
Advantages of magnetic drive pumps:
– no mechanical seal
– no leakage and emissions
– no motor/pump alignment
– environmental sustainability
– reliability and safety
– limited periodic maintenance with long-term savings
Injection Molding
The plastic parts of HTT pumps are made by GemmePlast, a company belonging to the GemmeCotti group, which is specialized in the injection molding for plastic materials.
This allow for a careful quality check of the raw materials and the complete control of the entire molding process.
Reliability
Unlike many centrifugal pumps on the market
the pump head of GemmeCotti pumps is fixed to the bracket with 8 bolts. This feature guarantees a firm fastening of the pump head to the bracket and avoid the casing deformation under pressure.
Reversible Connections
In the HTT series pumps In and Out connections can be reversed changing the rotation direction of the motor.
Static Shaft
The static shaft of the mag drive centrifugal pumps HTT series are made of Alumina 99,7% (Al2O3), an extremely resistant ceramic material, which guarantees the maximum stability and resistance to aggressive chemicals.
Magnets
The HTT pumps are equipped with NdFeB magnets that ensure a high magnetic torque.
Magnetic drive pumps are designed with a special sealless configuration that is suitable for transferring acids, chemicals, corrosive and dangerous liquids thanks to the high chemical resistance of their construction materials and to the absence of leakage and emissions. The structure is really simple and it requires very little maintenance with consequent saving in terms of repairing, spare parts and machine downtime (costs during the pump life). This type of pump is not suitable for transferring liquids with solids. Liquid must necessarily be clean and free of suspended solids.
* The pump’s flow rate and output are specified for pumping water at room temperature. If you pump liquids with higher temperature, viscosity, or density, the performance must be recalculated accordingly. The electric motor is selected based on the viscosity and density values provided.
