Guided Radar Level measurement

8188 Series

Guided Radar Level measurement interchangeable cable, rod, or coax probes, continuous measurement in various industrial liquid applications.

Guided Radar Level measurement

The Type 8188 guided radar level monitor is a versatile level measurement device equipped with interchangeable cable, rod, or coax probes, designed for continuous measurement in various industrial liquid applications. With a measuring range of up to 75 meters, this device is particularly well-suited for use in tall vessels. Its performance remains unaffected by challenging process conditions such as strong steam generation, density fluctuations, or changes in the dielectric constant. Additionally, build-up or condensation on the probe or vessel wall does not compromise the accuracy of the measurements. The Type 8188 is also capable of performing liquid interface measurements, such as detecting an oil/water interface.

  • Versatile Measurement: Designed for universal level measurement of liquids across a wide range of industrial applications.
  • Liquid Interface Capability: Accurately measures liquid interfaces, making it ideal for applications like oil/water separation.
  • Resistant to Interference: Insensitive to dust, steam, and other challenging conditions, ensuring reliable operation.
  • Efficient Communication: Operates with a 2-wire 4…20 mA/HART interface for precise and efficient data transmission.
  • Certified Safety: Comes with ATEX/IECEx certifications, ensuring safe use in potentially hazardous environments.
