Online Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer with Self-Verification

SWAN AMI Oxytrace QED

Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer for the continuous measurement of trace levels (parts per billion) of dissolved oxygen in high purity water.

Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer

Low-level (parts per billion) dissolved oxygen sensors are automatically verified with SWAN Analytical Instrument’s model AMI Oxytrace QED dissolved oxygen analyzer.

This AMI Oxytrace QED analyzer incorporates a Faraday type low-level oxygen generator into the sample flowcell of the instrument.

By default the instrument is programmed to perform an automatic ppb-level sensor verification every 3 hours to check the probe response time and amplitude.

The AMI Oxytrace QED system is stainless steel panel-mounted with transmitter, flowcell, probe and generator all combined for simple installation and operation.

The Clark type probe with guard (for fast sensor response) is reliable and accurate.

The system includes built-in flow control valve, sample flowmeter and membrane and electrolyte monitoring to ensure sample and probe integrity.

Calibration (in air) is simple and no zero calibration is required. No special gases such as nitrogen are required for calibration.

Features of the SWAN AMI Oxytrace QED Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer:

  • Automatic verification of sensor integrity with Faraday generator.
  • Accurate and reliable Clark-type amperometric dissolved oxygen probe.
  • Simple probe maintenance with integrated membrane in cap.
  • Integrated needle valve and flowmeter in flowcell.
  • Silver guard cell ensures fast sensor response time even after maintenance.
  • Transmitter can output dissolved oxygen, temperature and flow.
  • Automatic air pressure compensation.
  • System mounted on stainless steel panel.
  • Factory tested and ready for operation.

Oxygen/corrosion prevention in boilers can be tricky but SWAN’s AMI Oxytrace QED self-verification system provides peace of mind with unmatched analyzer integrity.

Typical applications include boiler blowdown, economizer inlet and condensate pump discharge water.

The analyzer is capable of levels from 0.010 up to 200% saturated and thus is useful as well for oxygenated systems.
