The externally controlled diaphragm valve Type 2103 is designed with a pneumatically operated piston actuator, a diaphragm, and a 2-way valve body. The actuator, housed in durable stainless steel, is built to withstand hygienic or aggressive environmental conditions. The flow-efficient valve bodies are engineered with minimal dead space, enabling high flow rates and broad versatility in application.

Both the valve body and diaphragm are available in a variety of materials and configurations to suit specific needs. The actuator features a compact, autoclavable design with a large stainless steel housing and seamless seals, ensuring robust performance. This system supports the integration of Type ELEMENT automation units at all configuration levels, with the option to retrofit or incorporate a fieldbus interface. An explosion-proof variant compliant with ATEX/IECEx standards is also available.

This valve system is a compact, smooth-surfaced, and highly integrated solution, with built-in pilot air ducts that prevent the intake of ambient air. The add-on body is optionally available in plastic or stainless steel and can be rotated 360° for flexible installation. The valve offers IP65/67 and NEMA Type 4X protection, along with high chemical resistance.
